Hot water systems are a multi-trade job. Most people don't realise it until they're getting three separate quotes from three different tradies. We handle it as one conversation.
Electric storage hot water — that's electrical (me, EC 9715) for the circuit, isolator, board capacity, element and thermostat work. Plumbing partner handles the water-side plumbing.
Heat pump hot water — same electrical work as above, plus the unit might involve refrigerant work (ARCtick partner) AND plumbing (plumbing partner). Three trades on one install. We coordinate so you get one quote covering the lot.
Gas hot water — gas-licensed partner handles the gas connection and appliance install, I handle any electrical work the unit needs (electric ignition, pump, controls).

FAQs
My old electric storage tank's leaking — can you replace it?
Element/thermostat I can do directly. Full tank replacement involves plumbing — I coordinate with the plumbing partner so you get one quote for the lot.
Is heat pump hot water worth the upgrade?
Long-term running cost, often yes — especially with rising electricity prices. But upfront cost is higher and the install is more complex (three trades). I'll give you the honest comparison.
My hot water tripped the safety switch — what is that?
Usually a failed element. Element replacement is electrical-only and accessible — quick job. If it's a tank leak though, that's plumbing.
